The Rosary— A Chain of Prayer

Supreme Knight launches “The Rosary— A Chain of Prayer” Campaign at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King, Liverpool. Aylesford 2018 On the afternoon of Saturday, 16th June 2018, at the end of the Biennial Mass for the Deceased Members of the Order, the Knights of St Columba’s Supreme Knight, Bertie Grogan, announced the forthcoming campaign : “The Rosary—A Chain of Prayer”
Virgin Mary (Solemnity) on Wednesday, 15th August 2018.

The campaign is to run from the Feast Day of the Transfiguration of the Lord on Monday, 6th August to The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Solemnity) on Wednesday, 15th August 2018.

A Chain of Prayer 2018 Pope Francis has called upon us to be “witnesses of the faith” and to reach out, not only to the world, but also to our neighbours. The Knights of St Columba are responding to the Holy Father’s request to protect the sanctity of life and combat abortion and euthanasia through the Rosary and 10 days of prayer.

We invite the Catholics of Britain and countries across the world to come together in unity and solidarity in this act of making a reverent petition to God.
